Please help me get this to Colson🙏
I’ve been fighting a rare disease for the past year, and it’s progressing faster than my doctors can slow or stop. I’m now in chronic respiratory failure.
Some thank-yous are too important to leave unsaid. I just need the chance to thank him.
I don’t know Colson and he doesn’t know me, but his music was right there with me, keeping me going when everything familiar was being taken from me. It was how I still recognized myself through it all.
His lyrics were my life support while I fought this relentless disease.
It was a battle I had no chance of winning - but it’s what kept me fighting, even when the disease was always one step ahead.
They’re still holding me up now as I try to make peace with that loss.
It saved my already heartbroken family, from having to see me break - over and over again.
