The District’s highest teacher award is also named in her honor. Congratulations to the Lacey family - a befitting tribute to her memory and legacy. The school colors will remain red, white, & blue. The mascot will also remain the Crimson Lions.

Following input from the community, @LRSD's Board voted Thurs., April 14, 2022, to name the new K-8 school being built to replace McClellan - the Dr. Marian G. Lacey K-8 Academy. Dr. Lacey, a beloved educator/administrator and Milken Award winner, passed in 2017.
