@GenOLeary @Israel He wasn’t a “supremacist.” He was a husband, a father, a farmer, and a man who ran to defend his community while his kids hid in a safe room. Hamas dragged his body into Gaza and held it for two years. You don’t have to agree with Israel’s policies to recognize basic humanity.

@Israel Who fucking cares? Hundreds of thousands of human beings are dead because Jewish Supremacist settlers like Tamir wanted to colonize Palestine.

Heartbroken but relieved that Tamir Adar is home — after 746 days in Palestinian Hamas captivity. 💔
Tamir, 38, was killed on October 7, 2023, while fighting to defend Kibbutz Nir Oz from the Hamas invasion. His body was abducted into Gaza, where it was held for more than two years.
When the attack began, Tamir rushed to help the kibbutz security team, telling his wife and children to stay safe in their reinforced room. His grandmother, Yaffa Adar, was also kidnapped that day and released 48 days later.
Tamir is survived by his wife Hadas, children Asaf and Neta, parents Yael and Moshe, and siblings Nir, Inbar, and Roni. A beloved mentor at the Ramon educational Foundation, he inspired countless young people before fulfilling his dream of becoming a farmer on his kibbutz.
Tamir Adar is finally home for a proper burial — a dignity denied to him for far too long.
May his memory be a blessing. 🕯️

@TimothyStephle1 @Israel He helped build that kibbutz from the ground up in 1957 that is his homeland. You don’t lose your right to call a place home because you were born somewhere else. He was 86, kidnapped and murdered in captivity. Show some basic humanity. May his memory be a blessing. 🕯️

Heartbroken but relieved that Aryeh Zalmanovich is home — after 746 days in Palestinian Hamas captivity. 💔
Aryeh was 86 when he was abducted from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, 2023. He was killed about five weeks into captivity in Gaza.
A father of two and grandfather of five, Aryeh was one of the founders of Kibbutz Nir Oz, where he had lived since 1957 — devoted to his community and family until his final days.
He was being held in Gaza alongside Israeli-Bedouin Farhan Al-Qadi, who was later rescued alive in August 2024. After his rescue Al-Qadi shared with Aryeh's family that he spent his last weeks speaking of his family, his friends, and his beloved kibbutz — the home he helped build and that was destroyed before his eyes.
After 746 days, Aryeh Zalmanovich is finally home for a proper burial — a dignity denied to him for far too long.
May his memory be a blessing. 🕯️
