One of my employees just called in sick for today How convenient to be sick on a Monday She's been with my company for 8 years But this got me thinking She seems to take a lot of sick days on Mondays I pulled up her records Yep, just as I suspected: She's taken nearly 20% of her sick days on Mondays Clearly, she's taking advantage of the system to get 3 day weekends I just let her know that she's being laid off Now she can take an extra long Christmas break Sometimes, you have to give employees exactly what they want
