MHP Troop G was honored to welcome our community to this year’s Trunk or Treat event! Families enjoyed a fun, safe environment to celebrate Halloween and, of course, collect plenty of treats. We appreciate everyone who came out and made it such a great evening!

MHP Troopers were grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Trooper Mitchell Johnson on Friday. A special thank you to Mudd Bugs of Waynesboro, MS, for their generous support during the event.

It was such an honor to take a picture with Preston Hartley, a student at Annunciation Catholic School. Preston is the U10 State Champion in the 100-meter breaststroke, and he placed in six other events at the State of Mississippi Swimming Championships in Tupelo, Mississippi.

On April 28, 2025, 10-year-old Treven Pitts lost his life saving his little brother Ethan from drowning. Today, MHP, Monroe Co. SO & Smithville PD met with Ethan at Smithville Elementary to present a shadow box honoring Treven — a true hero. #MSHP #Hero
