@cineworld Yes I'm a landlady and I know all about asking for proof of age. However I think there should be an element of trust when they are with their parents! It's not like the police are going to storm the place. I've never known anyone have to take ID to the cinema.

Just taken my son to @cineworld to see a film. We weren't allowed in as he didn't have ID. A looked forward to day ruined by jobsworth staff. Why can't they just take the parents word for it? No wonder everyone illegally downloads films!

The Pocket and Sweet (now Penny’s) shop in Balamory: Then and now. It’s a fitting tribute to the late Mary Riggans (Susie Sweet in the original series) that Penny Pocket now wears red. Susie must have trusted Penny as she is now allowed to run the shop on her own.
