Few weeks ago, I was priviliged to participate in the first Cairo University conference about artificial intelligence (CU-AI Nexus). I gave a lecture about applications of artificial intelligence in managing multiple sclerosis. I was honored to give this lecture in the prestigious historical buildings of Cairo University main campus, and in the presence of our faculty dean, vice dean and head of Neurology department, my dear colleagues from faculty of Medicine AI office, Neurology department, and our guests from different schools of Cairo University. #MultipleSclerosis

Back to Cairo after a busy week, attending the ECTRIMS 2025 in Barcelona. As always, it was very productive and informative with overwhelming attendance from all over the globe. Great chance for networking and exchanging experiences with colleagues, with new research ideas and future joint projects. We also presented our poster about a novel stratified PIRA definition for MS, orchestrated by the brilliant Eman Hamdy from Alexandria University. ##MultipleSclerosis #ECTRIMS2025

I was honoured and pleased to participate in the dissertation defense of the doctorate thesis submitted by Dr. Nadia Mangood from faculty of Pharmacology, Helwan University, about the role of biomarkers in diagnosing MS & NMO patients.
