Michiganders for Fair Lending

In spite of today’s decision by the Board of State Canvassers, our coalition remains dedicated to payday lending reform. We are stronger than ever and will refocus our efforts on a legislative solution to stop the payday loan debt trap, protecting vulnerable Michiganders.

Voters in 18 other states and the District of Columbia have overwhelmingly enacted payday loan rate caps with more than 70% approval. With our turn-in yesterday, we've taken the next step to protect Michigan residents. wlns.com/news/mi-group-…
