【MINT Manga Artists and Editors Vol. 6】 (6 of 6) Introducing the MINT manga artists and editors. ◆ Katsushika Keita (Manga Artist) @ktsksketch Featured work: Higashi Tokyo machimachi (Diverse East Tokyo) Published by Two Virgins (Print), LEED (Digital) Katsushika Keita is a manga artist and illustrator from Katsushika ward, Tokyo. He debuted in 2010 with his manga appearing in independent magazines such as USCA and PON-RAI. His work “Higashi Tokyo machimachi” has been in serialization since 2022. His other manga works are also being serialized in the magazines “Sanpo no tatsujin” (Walking Master) and “Metoro minittsu” (Metro Minutes). As an illustrator, he makes illustrations for the covers of books and magazines. She made her manga debut in 2015 with “One Story.” In 2020, "Arutisuto wa hana o fumanai" (Artiste ne marche pas sur des fleurs) was a Jury Selection in the Manga Division of the 23rd Japan Media Arts Festival. In 2021, “Hei no naka no biyōshitsu” (The Depth of the Sky), based on an original work by Mina Sakurai, received the Excellence Award in the Manga Division at the 24th Japan Media Arts Festival. While working as a manga artist she also takes on illustration and animation commissions.
