Folks complaining about Mesidor because of his age or injuries prior to 2025 - If Derwin or Slater were in this draft at their current age, when would they go? Alt & Hampton were iron men in NCAA. Injuries suck, often bad luck. Draft great players & hope they earn their contract.

Think the medicals here are probably more key than Mesidor age 25 discourse. 2 foot surgeries in 2022 + 2023, season-ending in 2023. We'll see long term, but he has the green light from the Chargers medical staff (yes I know there's like 500 jokes you can make here).

Chargers GM Joe Hortiz on Akheem Mesidor's maturity: "We interviewed him in Indy. You felt that in the room." On medicals: "He had one year of issues. We thoroughly evaluate everyone medically." Says there was not a concern w/ Mesidor medically.
