Day One: Hit the ground running... In anticipation of the inauguration of the City Boy Movement Lagos State Executive Council, the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Lasbat Meranda, paid a courtesy visit to the City Boy Movement Lagos State Secretariat. She was received by the State Director, Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe and Excos, who led her on a guided tour of the youth hub. The visit aligns with the core mandate of the City Boy Movement-youth empowerment, engagement, and development across Lagos State. The tour highlighted ongoing initiatives and programs designed to equip young people with the tools, opportunities, and support needed to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.

Dear Lagos State Taskforce @Taskforce112, Well done on this, Ikorodu Road especially Fadeyi, Palmgrove, Obanikoro side … We are personally dealing with the ones around Adeniji Adele, Sura and others. We MUST continue to deal decisively with the so called “Omotaku” boys disturbing motorists in distress. #SecureLagos #LagosSecurity @jidesanwoolu @TunjiDisu1

I can tell you for free that money won’t do anything trust me I ran for councillor and I had just 79 polling units and ended up spending over 30m just just a ward and in that local govt we have 7 wards. Which means a local govt would take approximately 200m now do that maths x 57 in Lagos that’s over a billion Naira For presidency I think you would need 50b

At least 10 billion naira to have any effect. And before anyone talks ignorantly as they usually do, payment of polling unit agents takes up the bulk of that money across the 36 states. I’ve not added billboards, posters, media rounds, logistics from state to state for you and your team etc. It goes on and on. This is why the most brilliant persons usually can’t be President of Nigeria except he/she has a godfather (which in itself is a flaw)

Since fuel went above ₦1k, I have always given free lifts to the Island and back whenever I find anyone who needs it. Yesterday, one funny lady almost made me change my mind about that. I got to the junction that connects my area to the main expressway and met people there as usual. I allowed only two people in who were going my way. One guy sat with me in front, and a lady sat at the back. Before they entered, I had two bags on the back seat. One containing my laptop and work stuff, and the other was my lunch pack. I had stretched to place my laptop bag in the boot, and left the lunch pack on the back seat because I considered it less valuable. I was wrong! 😂 We got to the Island and this lady came down, carrying her bag and my lunch pack! 🤣 I only noticed because I was watching out for her safety as she got out of the car. "Madam! That's my bag!" "Ha! I am so sorry, Sir. I carried it absentmindedly, thinking it was mine." My mouth was agape for a good ten seconds as I watched her gently return the lunch pack. The other guy in front was embarrassed on her behalf and just kept quiet. The rest of the drive to the office had me thinking: was it a mistake, or did she do it intentionally, hoping I wouldn't notice? That could have been my laptop bag too. Some humans are something else, sha. You collect free ride and still want to collect free food! Wetin I go chop now? So fe pa mi ni? 🤣 © LummyLawrence🎩

Today, we celebrate the strength, courage, and invaluable contributions of women across Kosofe and beyond. From our homes to our marketplaces, from classrooms to boardrooms, women continue to shape our communities with resilience, wisdom, and hard work. They are the pillars that hold families together and the driving force behind the growth and stability of our society. International Women’s Day is not only a day of celebration but also a reminder of the responsibility we all share to create a society where women are respected, protected, empowered, and given equal opportunities to thrive. When women rise, communities prosper. When women are empowered, the future becomes brighter for generations to come. Today, I salute every woman whose daily sacrifices and dedication continue to inspire progress in our communities and across our nation. Happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing women making a difference every day. Amb. Moyosore Badejo (MOG)

Tbvh I see nothing wrong in the ages, not all girls you see who are single now or unmarried planned for that by themselves and it’s really unfair how we all generalize. I had seen situations of very good girls who committed into a long term relationship with a guy only for him to run away after years of dating. Tell me if such girl won’t take her time to heal and all.
