DOWNFALL is now available, and the Above the Black trilogy is complete! I first dreamed up the Skylands eleven years ago, and I hoped that one day I could turn it into a series. I cannot tell you how incredible it is knowing I am now an author of a trilogy.

This weekend, I'll be at YAMidwest in Naperville, Illinois. I'll have four panels tomorrow and a book signing.

Some readers will like your books. Some will become obsessed and create fan art. Some will be indifferent about them. Some will dislike them. And some will be personally offended they even exist.

Well, The Odyssey was amazing.

Just finished a re-watch of the Dark Knight trilogy. It's still my favorite superhero trilogy. So good.

I have now dropped over twenty pounds since my book tour ended at the end of April. Still have forty to go but feeling loads better!

Came upstairs from my writing office to find my girls are using their daily screen time to watch the first Rocky movie. My children are wise!

This is the fifth time I've been in developmental edits with a publisher, and while I have grown accustomed to the feeling, and I enjoy editing, it’s also incredibly scary. I always have to take a breath before diving back in. Just about to get started today. Wish me luck!

The day has arrived. I received my developmental edits for BRIGHT SKY. This is my favorite part of the process, and I love working with my editor, Jonah Heller, to elevate my work to the Highest High. I cannot wait for you all to read this one. "Serve the collective!"

My teacher email is now shut down and I'm removing the account from my phone and personal computer. Definitely a bittersweet thing. That being said, I'm not going to miss getting emails from parents at 9:30PM at the end-of-term to see what can be done about their child's grade.

I had a wonderful time signing books at @BNBuzz in Sugarhouse, Utah today! It's always great to meet fans and new readers alike. I left signed copies of the trilogy there if you missed me!

Living my dream! I've been lucky enough to visit so many places since I first got published in January 2024! I keep adding pins. I'm hopeful the number of places only continues to grow and that I can meet you and sign a book for you!

I'm pretty disappointed Sony wants to stop making physical games, especially when digital is simply a license to use but not own.
