DOWNFALL is now available, and the Above the Black trilogy is complete! I first dreamed up the Skylands eleven years ago, and I hoped that one day I could turn it into a series. I cannot tell you how incredible it is knowing I am now an author of a trilogy.

Tonight, I will be at Poppy Books in Spanish Fork, Utah. I will be reading another deleted scene from the trilogy, signing books, and taking pictures with readers. If you're in Utah, I hope you can come!

One of my students stayed after school to talk about DOWNFALL. Apparently, yesterday after school, he biked to B&N to snatch a copy and he's already 300 pages in. He gave me fan art, too. 😀

Tip for writers doing author events/signings. Make a quote book of your favorite quotes from your books. Last night, someone asked for one for DOWNFALL and it took too long to come up with a favorite. So, this morning, I made this quote book with all my favorite lines!

Last night's launch event for DOWNFALL was incredible! Thank you to all who came. The King's English was a wonderful host, and I had a blast reading a deleted scene from SKY'S END that I wrote a decade ago.

Just finished all my pre-release signings for DOWNFALL. Nine bookstores here in Utah. DOWNFALL releases tomorrow. I am so ready!

DOWNFALL comes out tomorrow! My trilogy will be complete, and a story that I first started daydreaming about eleven years ago will be on bookshelves!

My wife and I introduced the extended LOTR movies to our girls, and they loved those. So we did the extended Hobbit movies, and they loved those. Now we're on season 2 of Rings of Power, and they're loving this, too. It's awesome watching for an hour each night for family time.

Second time visiting Florida, and first time seeing a living alligator out in the wild. Last time, it was roadkill and a man was scooping it up with a shovel.

One of my favorite moments from the Southwest Florida Readers Festival today was that during my panel, I made eye contact with a young fan in the audience and she immediately smiled and raised her copy of SKY'S END. 😀 She was one of the first in line to get her book signed too!
