Mainstay of my Afrikakorps 1944 has always been this 'Super Stug IV' with the long Panther 7,5 cm gun and heavy sandbag protection 😅

Trying out ice bases for slaves to darkness. Using layers of resin with colours in between to appear like it has depth..rocks colourings with snow will add alot.

@Garfytwit if it makes you feel better I end up doing it to any model with spikes!! (I accidentally drop models most days)

Not a bad start to painting the face. I'm going to start bringing a bit more colour back in though as its lost saturation

@Orbness oh wow its almost exact haha! Once I've built it and cleaned it up I'll post some nice close ups but the details are so crisp and there's barely any mould lines which says A lot for the quality

@Orbness yes it is i hadn't even thought of that! It's the perfect mix of fantasy and realism, and the quality is incredible - not a single imperfection

@blood_medusa if you wet a napkin or anything like that and keep it wet (like you would a wet palette) you can swipe your brush across to rehydrate it to the perfect amount without too much or too little. (It is best from a completely dry brush)- If this doesn't make sense I can try to clarify

Has anyone used #akinteractive matte varnish before? I have never got it to dry to a matte finish before it's ALWAYS gloss/satin!! Am I just using it wrong or is it a common thing? #warhammer #minipainting #miniaturepainting
