For context: Alvaro Folgueiras is a Spanish international who lost his Dad at 9 yrs old. He points to the sky after every made three to honor him. Folgueiras Mom was able to be there for the biggest shot of his career, just 3rd time she’s seen him play in person. What a moment ❤️

I covered a Wild playoff series when Jessi brought her son in one day. I tell the story often about how much respect I had for her juggling being a working mom with a newborn, the organization for allowing her to bring her baby in and the players for being so great.

One of my favourite memories of working at the Wild will always be Jessi bringing Hudson to the rink & Mikael Granlund becoming besties with him. I was so lucky to call her a close friend. Keep Mike & her family in your thoughts. Rest in peace Jessi, Hudson, Cayden, & Avery. ♥️

I worked with Jessi Pierce for 10 years at the NHL. Literally anything that needed doing in relation to the Wild, she would handle with ease, professionalism and a joy that's often lost in sports writing nowadays. Just an absolute pro. I am so sad.

Devastated and heartbroken. 💔 Jessi was beautiful inside and out. Her passion outside of her family, was hockey. I was such a huge fan. Was always thrilled and shared so many laughs with her when I came on her show Bardown Beauties. She was so genuine and stayed true to herself. My heart aches for Jessi, her 3 children and their dog. This is so hard to accept. May they all RIP. 💔

I went to Broadway Bar in Grand Rapids, Mich., last night.
