What’s happening in the UK has Bill Maher realizing just how “f*cked up” the country has become.
“Every time I think this country’s too woke, I look at what’s going on in your country, and I’m like, ‘Wow, these people are really f*cked up.’”
“How did England get so leftist?”
The UK is now banning the sale of cigarettes to anyone born after 2009… EVER.
That means if it’s the year 2040, and you’re 30 years old because you were born in 2010, you still can’t buy cigarettes.
It might sound like a good thing to some, but Maher can see it’s just another wing of the nanny state deciding what you can or can’t do as an adult.
“It’s illegal to buy cigarettes. Why? I mean, don’t people get to make their own mistakes? Don’t we get to do what we want to do? I mean, you’re an adult, and you can’t have a cigarette if you want?”
Maher’s British guest suddenly got defensive when he pointed out how the United Arab Emirates paused government scholarships for students wanting to study in the UK, citing fears they could become “radicalized” over there.
“Fake news,” she said. “This idea London is a no-go zone… people walking around with the Sharia law… A lot of that’s whipped up.”
“Two Jews did get stabbed this week,” Maher fired back.
This is a two-minute exchange worth watching.
@xsuperusd Just read description. How long can you punish someone? He stayed because he loves you but constantly being reminded makes me wonder how much punishment can one take. Will it be enough for her if he’s gone?

A 25-year-old parking attendant was sitting on an electrical box near the Tailgate Padres Parking lot when 20-year-old Lathapoun Keovongsa approached and struck him multiple times in the head with a wooden cane - an unprovoked attack.
The victim suffered lacerations and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers later located attacker, but he refused to listen to police commands and non-lethal rounds had no effect. The K9 was deployed, and he reportedly struck the dog multiple times.

NEW: I’m told by federal sources that a Dominican illegal alien with a deportation order & an Interpol Red Notice arrest warrant for murder in his home county was ordered released from ICE custody on Tuesday by Rhode Island federal judge Melissa DuBose (Biden appointee). I’m told that international fugitive Bryan Rafael Gomez was arrested by ICE Boston in Worcester, MA on April 4th, and had been detained in a facility in Rhode Island where he was issued a deportation order on April 28th by an immigration judge.
On Tuesday, I’m told Judge DuBose ordered Gomez be released from ICE custody on the grounds of “continuous unlawful detention”, while ICE argued that Gomez was subject to mandatory detention due to having an international arrest warrant for homicide.
I’m told Gomez was released, is now roaming freely again, and ICE can’t rearrest him due to Judge DuBose’s order. He was caught and released at the southern border by the Biden administration in 2022.

This blonde young lady in a turquoise long sleeve shirt and pink shorts stands at the helm of a white boat steering through a sunny marina with one hand on the throttle and the other on the wheel.
She looks around at the docks and other boats then turns back with a big smile as the boat eases backwards under a clear blue sky.
You watch someone handle a boat like a pro on a perfect day out on the water. Do you think it is relaxing and the kind of skill everyone should learn for fun days like this or do you say driving a boat through a crowded marina with people around is too risky if something goes wrong?
Would you trust her at the wheel or take over yourself?
First of all WHO'S POLL? ❓❓🧐
Second of all...this PROVES that the left just makes things up and spreads it as fact. I mean c'mon, NOBODY believes this, right?! 👇
Obviously a liberal made this meme. 😏
Am I only speaking for myself here?

@GigglingGanon No justice not served. People who enforce the law should be held to a higher standard. Has there been any other instances where people’s lives ruined by this officer planting evidence and framing them?
NYPD officer caught planting weed on body cam.
The encounter began when NYPD Officers Kyle Erickson and Elmer Pastran pulled over a vehicle in Staten Island, citing a broken taillight. Jason Serrano was a passenger in the car. Despite Serrano’s visible physical distress—he was recovering from a recent stabbing and major abdominal surgery—officers ordered him out of the vehicle.
Officers claimed to smell marijuana, justifying a vehicle search. Body-worn camera footage later revealed:
Officer Erickson searched the center console and cup holder area multiple times, stating he "found nothing."
Roughly 15 seconds after his last sweep, Erickson returned to the same cup holder and "discovered" a small amount of marijuana.
Serrano was forcefully taken to the ground during the arrest, which caused his surgical wounds to reopen, requiring hospitalization.
Facing the threat of pretrial detention at Rikers Island while injured, Serrano pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. However, after the bodycam discrepancies, his legal team fought to overturn the conviction.
A judge vacated Serrano’s conviction, citing the footage and the officers' disciplinary records as evidence of a potential constitutional violation.
Shortly after, the Staten Island District Attorney’s office dismissed all remaining charges against him.
Officer Kyle Erickson: Following the investigation into this and other similar stops, Erickson retired from the NYPD. Records show he faced no criminal prosecution for the alleged evidence planting.
Officer Elmer Pastran: Remained with the force but was reportedly assigned to administrative duties or additional training following the incident.
Civil Action: Jason Serrano filed a civil rights lawsuit against the City of New York and the officers involved. As of early 2026, the litigation resulted in a settlement, with the city paying $175,000 to resolve the claims of misconduct and physical injury.
How do you feel about this, was justice served, or should there have been more that happened to these officers?
