At @GESatKAUST we have been thinking about the language we use in math. Think about how you teach math or have been taught math. What words do you find challenge you, what might you need to change and what words have expired? #MathPact #Math #PYP #IB

@Dean_of_math I would say isn't data for everyone? If we empower students to be able to understand their strengths and next steps through data as well as sharing this with parents and using it as teachers to inform the learning, isn't that when assessment data at it's most usefulness?

Beyond that I feel like I've made a new friend and someone who's listened to me and helped me to understand what it means to be a math coach and how to navigate that world. I will truly miss you my friend but hopefully this is not goodbye, it's see you soon.

My time with this amazing coach and educator @MikeFlynn55 has come to an end (for now). I'm so fortunate to have been given this opportunity to collaborate with you and talk about everything Math.

Our last learning lab with @MikeFlynn55, working with a grade near and dear to his heart, G2. Students were tasked with being accountable for each other's thinking. What are the ways you hold students accountable for their buddies thinking? @GESatKAUST #buildingthinkingclassrooms
