The New York State Legislature must include both components in the final enacted State budget: a full 3.2% COLA to counter the annual inflation rate, and a $4,000 DSWE to rebuild New York’s DSP workforce.

One week until the #NYSBudget is due! Our lawmakers heard our calls for a 3.2% COLA, but they plan to restrict how funding can be used. This ignores the complexity of the challenges caused by years of inadequate investment. Educate them: p2a.co/rNa8dgB #InvestinMe

We’ve made progress, but we aren’t done! State lawmakers in Albany are finalizing the budget and we need them to hear our calls for an unrestricted 3.2% COLA and a Direct Support Wage Enhancement. We hope you will join us at this @NYDisabilityAdv rally. Share to spread the word!
