June is Pride Month!
Historically, Pride gatherings emerged from the first large-scale protests for 2SLGBTQI+ rights. In Canada, the first demonstrations took place in Ottawa & Vancouver in 1971. By 1973, Pride events were held in several Canadian cities, including Winnipeg.

Our @louis_riel_sd hiring event is today from 11am to 6pm at 900 St. Mary’s Rd. We are helping folks interested in sun & casual work walk out with a completed application! Last year, we hired over 80 people as the result of this event. #jobs #winnipeg #hire

Last day of fundraising to support the Sam I Am Centre, where the new bakery will help to feed (and employ) folks in the community. First batch of bread went into the oven yesterday. #haiti #philanthropy #lunionfaitlaforce

Each December, I raise funds for the Sam I Am Centre in Léchard, Haiti - dad’s retirement project. 100% of funds raised go to the centre. Donations of $25 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. Current project is a bakery! Etransfer me or DM if you would like to contribute.
