@SatiarShah Is it likely for the Canucks to sell off of Linus Karlsson and DOC this offseason? They are more deadline moves but if we can sell them soon, it allows more spots for UFA’s we can sell later.

Hutson’s was a team friendly deal but even Lacombe and Luke Hughes had pretty good seasons leading into their 9 million AAV contracts. Biggest factor is if he wants a bridge. Hope not

@finessingh8996 @ThomasDrance @nytimes I think so too but maybe having that eighth year can convince him. If it’s around 8 I’d do it. I think it would have to be. The guys that got 9 mil (Hutson, Lacombe and Hughes) all had a longer and better track record at the point of signing.

Last place is all but locked up now, the Canucks would have to win 8 of their last 13 (or otherwise accumulate 16 points) just to pass the three teams with 65 points, and that’s without them picking up any more points themselves. It’s not over until it’s over, but we’re close!
