I’m starting to view standards as what we build curriculum from, but I’m less convinced GRADES must reflect proficiency of grade-level standards in ELA. If students arrive “below” reading/writing “grade level,” achieving “grade level” may not be feasible. But success still is.

@alicekeeler I disagree. I’m a math teacher and I believe it’s important to have a balance between digital and paper assignments. Most if not all my students prefer paper.
