All children in school have had a really special day! Mr Hoskins will do a super job in the autumn term and it will be wonderful to have the Marchwood family altogether again as they should be. The Y2 children joining MJS are very lucky to have four fantastic years ahead!

Y6 children have today been kindly presented with a beautiful personalised key ring from the PTFA and a stunning booklet made by Mr Jacobs with quotes from every child 💗

Happiness is a Y6 socially distanced pizza party 🤩

Finishing Y6 in the middle of a pandemic is not easy but staff are making it as special for our children as possible! Zoom assembly, followed by a year group presentation (Thanks PTFA!) followed by a bubble pizza party on the field. Our Y6 children deserve a special day! 🤩

3S, it was so lovely to see you all. What a lovely way to say goodbye with Mrs Skinner 💗 Pixie, your surprise made it really special. Good girl for thinking about other people 🙂 Mrs Skinner is excited to see you all in school next week.

The star flag was made as an example to reflect our bubble (Mr Hoskins and myself). The big red cross is to represent that is it okay to make mistakes but we try to only make the same mistake once 🙂

It was great to hear the children explaining about their love and care for our Marchwood family and how they love being together and working as a team.

In Monday's 'in school' Zoom assembly, each bubble was challenged to design their own bubble flag. They had to design it together and then be able to explain each aspect to the rest of the school.

Class assemblies today were lovely. We shared a little film with each class to share memories from their time in school this year. It was a great opportunity to say goodbye to the children as a whole class including the children who are in bubbles in school.

Today was the last of the live Zoom lessons from Mrs Read. I hope your child has enjoyed them and benefited from a familiar face on screen. Many thanks to Mrs Read for all her hard work and adaptability in producing these lessons!!
