DA Inquisition - 6.5/10 - Its fine.. but the start of the series sliding into some of the worst writing ever in Veilguard.
Witcher 3 - 6/10 - Just... way too long I checked out eventually.
OW - 5/10 - Was fine to fuck around with freinds a bit but nothing amazing. Some good porn tho.
Breath Of The Wild - 3/10 - I hate this...
God Of War - 4.5/10 - A game I keep trying to gaslight myself into liking and just give up as soon as it opens up.
Sekiro - 6/10 - A decent game but just not into parry based games
TLOU 2 - 5/10 - Misery simulator, its just nowhere near as good as the OG, its "ok".
It Takes Too - 6.5/10 - Fun to play once with a friend.
Elden Ring - 5/10 Probably my least fave soulslike and second to worst FromSoft souls game. Just so much bland repeated shit in the world. If it wasn't open world would have been so much better.
BG3 - 3/10 - Everytime I try to play this I am reminded that I hate D&D, I hate the combat and I kinda want to just kill all the opening characters on sight.
Astro Bot - 6.5/10 - I actually should probably give this one a 7 its the best game on this list. A decent little platformer but nothing remarkable.
E33 - 6.5/10 - It IS decent, it has some good moments, but again not a fan of parryslop and it's not as groundbreaking as people say. That ending too. I hated it.

On the gameplay front, sure. An improvement in almost every conceivable way from Tsushima to Yotei. Better traversal, open world and swordplay
But there is an ATLANTIC OCEAN SIZED GAP between Tsushima and Yotei as far as narrative goes. Tsushima tells the tale of a samurai becoming the first shinobi and struggling with the inner moral conflict of that. Sacrificing his honor for the greater good of his people.
Yotei tells a revenge story we’ve seen at least 1000 times across different mediums of storytelling. Decent story throughout but wildly mediocre, cliche final act

This isn't true when Xenoblade 1 on switch 2 adds a new mechanic available at the beginning that completely trivializes exploration, which is a core part of the game.

I'm replaying Xenoblade Chronicles and already getting tired of the “Nintendo is just milking re-releases” crowd. They clearly haven’t actually played these games on Switch 2. Xenoblade finally feels like it was always meant to. The world looks crisp and alive even in handheld, the colours pop, the draw distance is night and day, and those long sessions on the go actually feel good instead of a compromise. The quality of life changes like smarter inventory, better fast travel and smoother controls don’t change what made the game special. They just stop it from fighting you every step of the way. This isn’t milking. This is what it looks like when a developer actually respects the work they’ve already done and gives it the platform it deserved all along. And on top of that we’re getting fresh costumes and events for the Nopon Grand Prix? That’s not “re-releasing”. That’s continuing to care. The people complaining the loudest are usually the ones who never gave these games a real chance in the first place. Meanwhile the rest of us are over here finally able to lose entire weekends to them the way we always wanted to. What’s the one QoL or visual change that’s made you fall back in love with Xenoblade all over again?
