@masked_stat
So I fully ported my version of the Monkey Strategy to NT8. It maches 1 to 1.
I have trying to implement an entry system to avoid market entries. But today it missed the trade as price hit TP before a fill.
What is your approach for entries?

@sebinho17 @masked_stat Hi friends
I also use the Monkey strategy on the NT8. I enter directly through the NinjaTrader platform. With the Tradovate data feed the entry occurs at the close of the candle. With Rithmic, things are different, and the entry happens about two or three pips further away.

@masked_stat I know that in theory we should not miss too many trades using limit orders. But as it already does not trade much, that is a bit annoying.
Market entries on the other end can really punish you badly....😅

Very happy with the progress
I can't think of any way to improve it further. I'll keep testing filters to eliminate losing short trades. The problem is that every new filter I try eliminates more winning trades than losing ones
Patience and hard work

Alright 🐒 This thread is going to be about dissecting the loss Monkey Bot took today during London session. And more importantly: 1️⃣ What we can see manually on the chart 2️⃣ How I approach fixing it from an automation / machine learning perspective Because yes… even monkey machine gets humbled sometimes and dies like Mario 🍌💀 It’s going to be a long thread, but hopefully it gives you a good sense of how I mix ML with CRT-style trading to progressively build better solutions 😄🤖🐒

I had my doubts about the second iFVG when it came out, but the candle broke so strong and took the short
33 Ticks I'm super happy.
