@Dr_SabineCallas @MKSalty Strawberry in particular offers concise and consistent praise, while her criticism is often shallow, lacking in thoughtful analysis. An even assessment would praise what is done well and critique what is not done well. Hers is not an even assessment and hasn't been for a while.

@MKSalty I actually really enjoyed Harbor's release even if it *did* feel rushed because I like his character/concept, and it felt fresh. I figured it was just a blip and successive reveals would be more integrated and complex. Now here we are, still not knowing Vyse and Veto's names.

I'm biased as a ship disliker but tbh even if I were aboard I'd be pretty perplexed How is it that a full team of professional, full-time writers and creators can't put together a functional narrative arc? The full picture of their work is amateurish, sloppy, and inconsistent.

@AnonHieron I wholeheartedly agree. Fade's arc was the best built up by far. Harbor's wasn... bad but since then each release has just fallen victim to time & budget & the team being forced to the next plot point. Like Veto? NOTHING since his drop. Fade got so much content post drop

@MKSalty I have lost a lot of faith in them, though. Confusing decisions and dropped narratives still proliferate even taking the timeline aspect out. I came in right after Fade was released and had such high hopes, and never quite felt that again.

@AnonHieron And yeah, I agree that they don't close off lore branches, and leave a LOT hanging, but I believe if they had more freedom to share lore, they would do so, wholeheartedly.

@AnonHieron I think that a lot of people forget that it's not entirely up to the narrative team to decide what gets sent out. They have to make decisions that align with the other teams goals & the points that make Riot money. They're constrained by wayyyy more than like the skins team.
