🚨 AFTERMATH: US forces destroyed two C-130 aircraft on the ground in southern Iran after successfully rescuing the downed F-15E crew. The temporary forward operating base used during last night’s high-risk rescue mission was demolished to prevent it from falling into enemy hands. Special Forces completed the daring extraction under fire, then ensured nothing of value was left behind for Iran. Zero US casualties. Mission accomplished. BREAKING: There is very little left of the wreckage of the U.S. Air Force F-15E of the 494th Fighter Squadron that was shot down and crashed in Iran. The reason appears to be that another F-15E operating nearby conducted follow-on strikes on the crash site to deny the Islamic regime access to sensitive and classified components and systems. During this strike, any remaining wreckage was largely destroyed. It is also possible that the remains of the crew member—either still inside or near the crash site after a failed ejection—were affected in the process. These fragments now appear to be among the only surviving pieces of the aircraft including the rear facing antenna of its EW suite. #OperationEpicFury #OperationLionsRoar
