@natsimms1 In the end I was rejected by both. Wildrose members rejected my vision for their party and PC members rejected my candidacy.

@natsimms1 If I could have run and won as an independent I would have. As a libertarian, partisan politics was never a very good fit for me.

Budget observation: Astonishing how low resource revenues will be in 2015 at $2.9B. Peaked at $14.3B in '05; hasn't been this low since '98.

The fiscal plan I helped write needed $80 oil to balance the budget without raising taxes. Oil is at $50. It requires a new plan.

Budget '15 is tough medicine. I've been preaching about the need to control year over year spending for more than a decade. It's about time.
