The #WorldBaseballClassic has met the moment, and @FOXSports’ coverage continues to match it! Team USA's semifinal win over the Dominican Republic on Sunday delivered the most-watched #WorldBaseballClassic telecast of all time with 7,369,000 viewers across FS1 and FOX Deportes. 🥇 USA's ticket punch to the #WBC Final was the most-watched telecast on FS1 since 2019 (9th most-watched telecast on the network overall).

The 2026 World Baseball Classic has already set the all-time tournament attendance record. This year’s tournament also set new attendance marks for an individual pool (Tokyo) and a U.S. pool (Houston). The Quarterfinals begin tonight with Korea vs. DR at 6:30 p.m. Eastern on FS2 and U.S. vs. Canada at 8 p.m. Eastern on FOX. Previous records were all from 2023: Total Attendance (1,306,414), Individual Pool (Tokyo: 361,976), U.S. Pool (Miami: 295,850).

MLB has formed new three-year media rights agreements with Netflix, NBCUniversal, and ESPN. The agreements, which cover rights for the 2026-2028 MLB seasons, mark the return of NBC to regularly airing MLB games on its broadcast network for the first time in 26 years, will expand Netflix’s engagement with MLB from documentaries to live baseball event coverage for the first time, and will extend MLB and ESPN’s long-term relationship to 39 consecutive seasons.
