カラスは様々な病原体の感染が示唆されています。今回の報告では,カラスがシカ上の外部寄生虫を捕食することで,外部寄生虫が既に保有する病原体や外部寄生虫が吸血したシカの血液中の病原体に感染する可能性を考察しました。 ※本当に感染できるのかは更なる研究が必要です。

カラスがシカを突いている様子を観察した論文が出ました。 ダニなどの外部寄生虫を除去しているようです。 doi.org/10.1002/ece3.7… ダニ男くん@h_megaspinosaと一緒に感染症管理の観点からも議論しました。Xの動画も整理しました。大体が奈良公園の観察事例でしたが。

My final paper for 2024 was published today. In total, this year I co-authored 13 papers and co-described a genus and 35 species. These new species were collected from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Ecuador, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
