It’s advance poll day. Heads up Hamilton Centre - the poll in east Hamilton is woefully understaffed. @ElectionsCan_E - you need more staff for the weekend. I’m 30 minutes into waiting and not even halfway to the poll clerk.

@SaundersWard10 @ElectionsCan_E I’ve pulled the dud line as well Viv. The whole setup is terrible. And paper ballots in 2025? Good gracious we had scanned ballots provincially (at last). Poll 607 needs more staff and a better set up.

I am committed to supporting our government as we defend Canada from Donald Trump and his ill-conceived and unjustified trade war. I will continue to stand up for my constituents in Burlington and fight for a fairer, more inclusive, more prosperous Canada in Ottawa. As Liberals we all need to be focused on defeating Pierre Poilievre in the upcoming election. To my constituents in Burlington and all Canadians know that I am all in for you. I am ready for this fight.

@cityofhamilton Thanks but I don’t have the access code to complete it online. I haven’t received the letter or final tax bill with the access code. The phone system isn’t stable it appears.

@kitch226 @LauraBabcock @ontario_liberal @OntarioNDP My federal riding comprises 4 city wards. My councillor canvassed doors twice over 4 months in the last city election. She didn’t get to all doors twice. Invite the candidates for coffee? Set up an appointment at the campaign office? Or invite neighbours for a meet n greet?

@LauraBabcock I agree. If the @ontario_liberal or @OntarioNDP want my vote, the only thing I ask is for the candidate themselves to knock on doors and talk to the people. Don’t send your volunteers to be like puppets and say what they are told to say.

I don't know who I will vote for in the upcoming Ontario election but I do know it won't be Doug Ford or anyone who compromised their values to work for him. #onpoli

I lost my mother today, after a long and difficult battle with pancreatic cancer. Her name was Susan Jane Scorgie. She was a wife of over 50 years, mother to my brother and me, grandmother to three wonderful children, and a retired teacher. Rest in peace, Mom. I love you.
