WNBA players avoided signing contracts past the 2025 season so they could take advantage of the higher salaries allowed in the new CBA. Which means that other than those on rookie-scale contracts, only two players are on contracts The rest of the league will be free agents.

@FrontRowBrian Ppl dont understand that netflix have no interest in creating a ufc rival. Ufc wouldve likely been with netflix if they wanted to put on regular shows. Netflix are in the game for the big events but not 45+ shows a year.

Colby Covington just EXPOSED UFC for FORCING fighters to take BAD fights and FREEZING them if they dont comply.... Says Hunter Campbell gives NO CHOICE to the fighter to pick their fights😳 "You don't get a choice.. They will freeze you out if you dont take their fights."

@FrontRowBrian This event is going to get 40-60m views. My guess is that Netflix aint going into the MMA world or Boxing 100% But they will definitely sign a long term deal with MVP for boxing and MMA events.

Apparently MMA agent Ali Abdelaziz is part of the UFC contingent training FBI agents. This is mostly notable because Abdelaziz was once an NYPD/FBI informant, but the FBI believed him to be a liar and tried to have him deported. Now he's training FBI agents!

UFC fighters will train FBI agents at a "historic seminar" so they can "be even better prepared to protect the American people," says FBI director Kash Patel . “Dana White has changed the game in the mixed martial arts industry and we’re extremely honored to be partnered with him, the professionals and the UFC. We are grateful for their shared love of our nation, so that we can better defend her,” Patel adds. UFC CEO Dana White says: “I have tremendous respect for the FBI and the work they do every day to protect this country. Our UFC fighters are some of the baddest men and women on the planet and they are heading to Quantico to train the best FBI agents in mixed martial arts. It’s an incredible opportunity for our athletes to experience, and we’re proud to support the FBI in strengthening their defense techniques.” Athletes attending include current interim UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethe, the first UFC BMF champion Jorge Masvidal, former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman, former UFC strawweight title challenger Claudia Gadelha, former UFC lightweight title challenger Michael Chandler, top UFC flyweight contender Manel Kape and mixed martial arts legend Renzo Gracie. variety.com/2026/politics/…

"Boxing has been completely contaminated by promoters who have not prioritized giving the people what we want, when we want it. I know that ain’t going to be Dana White." —@stephenasmith on boxing promoters 🥊
