@Decyferx @JakeGerberMMA From a lot of people's views, it is better because they have big main stream names. It's okay to enjoy it. Not every card needs to have top 5 fighters. Even so, at this point of MMA's career, this is the least interest main stream has ever had about UFC champs.

Why anyone is complaining about the card MVP has put together is just beyond me. Nobody said you gotta watch even though you will... The fighters on that card I'm sure are being compensated incredibly well and are getting to fight on the largest streaming platform in the world. The card has a little bit of everything that appeals to everyone and is very well put together for an MMA event that's not put on by the UFC. We all like the UFC and can also enjoy an event put on by someone else in the space. It's good that a promotion has the resources to make something like this happen. Stop defending and sucking off the UFC at every angle.

I want to see the UFC do great , even though I’m no longer with them at all. As a fan of the sport I hope ufc gets bigger and bigger. But it’s not a good look that it seems like they aren’t listening to the fans anymore and making the right fights happen. That said, man I’m fucking excited for the Netflix MMA card

@MerrabiMedia Who cares if it is sustainable or not, maybe 2 big outside the UFC events a year put on by MVP on Netflix and that would be great. What's wrong with that? This card has main stream names that will draw eyeballs. That's a win win for Netflix and MVP.

I think a lot of it is the fact that people see it differently, you see big fights, I see older names (which are not sustainable) and the rest of the card is like a PFL and LFA card... I am more then exicted for it and am far from a UFC white night but I am not gonna sit here and say that the MVP card is crazy good cause its just not, its fun for sure, but not a top ten card of the year when its all said and done

UFC and MMA doesn't need any saving by the hard cores. Everyone needs to calm down and just enjoy the fights. Are we trying to legitimize the sport again? If you have Netflix already, you get them for no additional charge.

MVP's business is to put on big fights for Netflix. It doesn't matter if it is MMA, Boxing, etc. Whenever things line up for either one, you put on a big event. Fighters win, fans win, Netflix gets eyeballs and publicity. This isn't rocket science. #mma #mvp #netflix

MVP is making UFC competitors look foolish over the past couple decades. Why did ONE, Bellator & PFL sink money into a billion cards every year INSTEAD of less cards w/ big names & star power? The real question of course is how much are they spending & how sustainable is this?

@MMASupremacy As you said, some things never change. The MVP card has a few glaring flaws, but it also has some interesting matchups. UFC matchmaking has gone off a cliff, but rather than acknowledging that, the diehards will attack anything else instead.
