Some people think there are “two different coins.” Some think extra supply is being created. Some think wrapped coins are fake coins. So let’s break this down very clearly because this model already exists in crypto and some of the biggest ecosystems in the world already use it. First understand this: Layer 1 $ANET is the REAL native coin of the A Network blockchain. This is the actual mined asset of the ecosystem. • Max supply fixed at 21,000,000 • Mined by the community • No unlimited inflation • No hidden extra mining • Lives on the native ANET blockchain • Designed around scarcity like Bitcoin This is the core asset. This is the coin connected to the actual Layer 1 chain. Now let’s talk about wrapped Layer 2 $ANET. The wrapped version exists for one reason: EXPANSION. Exposure. Liquidity. Accessibility. Cross-chain compatibility. Because here’s the reality… Every blockchain is its own ecosystem. Bitcoin cannot naturally move inside Ethereum. Ethereum cannot naturally move inside Solana. Native Layer 1 coins usually stay locked to their own chain. That’s where wrapping comes in. The best example in crypto is Bitcoin itself. Bitcoin is the biggest and most valuable cryptocurrency in the world. But Bitcoin’s blockchain is limited in terms of smart contracts and DeFi applications. So the crypto industry created WBTC — Wrapped Bitcoin. WBTC is basically a representation of Bitcoin on another chain. The real BTC gets locked or reserved. A wrapped version is issued on another blockchain. When users redeem it back, the wrapped version is burned or removed. That’s how Bitcoin gained exposure to another ecosystem without changing Bitcoin’s original supply. A Network is building a very similar concept. The real scarce asset stays on Layer 1. The wrapped version acts like a bridge representation that can travel across external ecosystems. Why does this matter? Because if a project only stays isolated on one chain, growth becomes limited. External investors. DEX users. Liquidity providers. Multi-chain communities. All of them want easier access. The wrapped version allows that. Imagine this: Someone on another blockchain wants exposure to A Network but doesn’t want to fully move into the native chain immediately. Wrapped $ANET gives them access. Now the ecosystem can interact with multiple blockchains while the native Layer 1 chain still remains the core foundation.
