@joshryancarr -silliness. Bizarre how much the style has changed in 7 years between 4 and 5. The lack of a Newman song and animated end credit scenes also didn’t help. Feels like the film was made with slightly less love and dedication for me. Such a shame as well.

@Swag_K1RBY 4 had a few really nice new motifs. 5 only had the vocal Buzz army theme, doesn’t feel very Randy Newman and I have a feeling most of the soundtrack was written by Joey Newman. Might be wrong but just didn’t have THAT vibe.

Toy Story 5 was pretty sweet. Liked the story better than 4, gave Jessie some well deserved resolution. Still think Buzz could be given better stuff. Woody felt like he was only there because he’s the face of the franchise. The tech stuff most of all was handled great.

@Ashnflash Is it just me or did Toy Story 5 just not have the same spark present in the first 4? Something just felt off. No Randy Newman song didn’t help and Woody was barely in it. Also wasn’t a fan of the dialogue and none of the jokes really landed for me.
