11th EMA Forum will be organized by Marmara Municipalities Union and Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB) on 7-8 October in Istanbul! We had a productive meeting with Mr. Jordi Castellana, the Vice President of International Relations and Digital Metropolis of the AMB on the forum preparations and collaboration areas at WUF13. ————————————- EMA Forum (Avrupa Büyükşehirler Forumu), Marmara Belediyeler Birliği tarafından Barselona Metropolitan Alanı iş birliğiyle 7-8 Ekim’de İstanbul’da düzenlenecek. Türkiye’s Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, Deputy Minister Ömer Bulut, and Türkiye’s Ambassador to Baku Birol Akgün visited MARUF booth at World Urban Forum (WUF13) and were briefed on MARUF and MMU’s ongoing work and initiatives. ——————- Çevre, Şehircilik ve İklim Değişikliği Bakanımız Sn. @murat_kurum ve Bakan Yardımcımız Sn. Ömer Bulut ile Bakü Büyükelçimiz Sn. @Birol_Akgun Marmara Belediyeler Birliği standını ziyaret ederek MARUF ve MBB’nin çalışmaları hakkında bilgi aldı.

MMU's NALAS Delegates, Mayor M. Ergün Turan of Fatih and Mayor Melek Mızrak Subaşı of Bilecik, voted at the @nalas_eu General Assembly for the 2025-2026 period. MMU Secretary General M. Cemil Arslan delivered a keynote speech at the EU-SEE Local Leaders Forum.

MMU’s NALAS Delegate Mayor of Bilecik Ms. Melek Mızrak Subaşı and MMU Secretary General M. Cemil Arslan received awards on behalf of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Marmara Municipalities for the outstanding green actions implemented by municipalities in the Marmara Region.
