Tanker teams are at work in Westport, MA right now, trying to put out a scrap yard fire along Rt6. The smoke is blowing across residential neighborhoods and I-195. This appears to be a scrap metal yard with a large pile of debris burning. @wpri12

The Boston Red Sox fired manager Alex Cora, hitting coach Peter Fatse, bench coach Rámon Vazquez and game-planning coach Jason Varitek, sources tell ESPN. While the Red Sox won today, they are 10-17 and in last in the American League East. Massive change is coming in Boston.

Workers just brought boxes of pizza to the scene of the partial highway on-ramp collapse impacting the Amtrak train tracks in RI. Looks like a long night ahead as they work to resolve the situation and get trains moving again in the northeast. @wpri12

#NOW RI Gov Dan McKee has just arrived to the scene of a partial highway on-ramp collapse, blocking train tracks below & causing major Amtrak travel disruptions. This is on the Providence-Cranston line. Cranston Mayor Ken Hopkins also here. @wpri12

Amtrak reporting significant delays between Boston, MA & Kingston, RI as a result of what appears to be a significant collapse of concrete & metal structures blocking all train tracks in Cranston. It appears that the collapsed material came from a Route 10 highway bridge @wpri12

Some bittersweet but exciting news to share: Tomorrow will be my last day at WMUR. Next week, I will join the team at WCVB Channel 5, our Hearst sister station in Boston, as a reporter!
It is a dream come true for me to go to WCVB, the station I grew up watching.

The final finisher of the 130th #BostonMarathon, a 64 year old woman affectionately named "Ruby", crossed the finish line on Boylston St at exactly 8:30pm to complete her very first @bostonmarathon, cheered on by family and dedicated volunteers.
