One man (@Smithy_MFC84) and his Match Mag’s he just can’t let go. After all, who doesn't want to be 'Home Alone' with Ian Selley? Pure 90's nostalgia.

“…he’s always got loads of tasty women by his side. That can’t be bad, can it?!”
@JohnHartson10 imagines himself as anyone from Boris Becker to Barry White.
Slightly traumatised by Match’s interpretation of Boris playing for Arsenal, mind…

Mega Poster of Andrei Kanchelskis anyone?
A rarity for me (unless it was a #Boro player) for me to remove the Match Facts section from the middle of the magazine to reveal these posters in all their glory.

@TheSkyStrikers @ByronicEnigma @matchmagazine @PremiershipYrs @djtonyperry @retrofootballnw @90sFootballUK1 @80s90sfootball @sp1873 @7RobLee @Sharpeyofficial Hahaha! Brilliant.
Can you imagine that now?
“So, Cristiano, who did you play for who was shit?”
“United under Ten Haag - fucking garbage”.
English

@MMoftheD @ByronicEnigma @matchmagazine @PremiershipYrs @djtonyperry @retrofootballnw @90sFootballUK1 @80s90sfootball @sp1873 @7RobLee @Sharpeyofficial There's a feature in Shoot! I scanned, one of the 70s ones, which basically had a Q&A where one of the questions was "who did you play who was shit?" and they all answered.....
Honesty used to be such a thing......

"Everton player tips City in MASSIVE DISRESPECT to Arsenal". Cue a load of angry messages on X saying next time Arsenal play Everton all Arteta needs to do is pin that tweet on the wall.

Find someone who looks at you the way Middlesbrough club captain Nigel Pearson looks at new record signing Nick Barmby, as the pair model the Boro's new kit back in the summer of 1995. @boro_memories

Other things you forgot; it was once called the Endsleigh League.

File this under “90’s footballers you forgot existed”. Anyway, sounds like a thoroughly nice bloke. Love how “getting a pub” was still a thing for footballers back then when they retired. It’s what makes 90’s footy unique - that clash of old and new eras colliding beautifully.
