Most Kenyans, even lecturers in the universities and at Jogoo House, believe the same thing as Verwoerd. KICD told us essentially the same thing he said when they brought CBC. All that was different was the language. Instead of saying they want to educate kids for servitude, they called it "practical skills." Instead of saying African kids had no business learning mathematics, they said mathematics is "confusing" and many kids don't have the "talent" for it.
