Proud to join with @MNPoliceAssn to hold Mary Moriarty accountable. Mary Moriarty’s conduct in this case was reprehensible. She was intent upon prosecuting a cop no matter the facts and took serious ethical shortcuts to try to get a conviction. alphanews.org/exclusive-prof…

Best part of keynoting the Blue Line Ball? Two things: (1) honoring law enforcement and their stellar families; and (2) compelling @lizcollin to stand up and receive roaring applause (because she hates the attention).

We need to stop conceding important offices to unqualified people that put their own idealogical agendas ahead of common sense progress for all people - government isn’t functioning well at any level and that has consequences for real people - it’s up to voters, start paying more attention, and start voting, or the damage will become irreparable

MPPOA proudly joins communities across the nation in observing National Police Week, taking place from May 11 to May 17, 2025. This week serves as a time to honor the dedication, service, and sacrifices of law enforcement officers throughout Minnesota and the United States. National Police Week is a solemn reminder of the courage and commitment displayed by our law enforcement professionals. We pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and reaffirm our support for officers who continue to serve with integrity and honor. Throughout the week, the MPPOA encourages participation in various events and ceremonies, including the 37th Annual Candlelight Vigil on May 13 and the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service on May 15 in Washington, D.C. In Minnesota, local departments and communities are hosting their own commemorations, providing opportunities for residents to express gratitude and support for their local law enforcement agencies. The MPPOA remains steadfast in its mission to advocate for public safety professionals, ensuring they have the resources and support necessary to serve their communities effectively.
