@MONEYMAZJONES @CFLNewsHub It wasn’t meant to make Dean seem bad. He is a great player. But you sign players in free agency for what they are going to do and not what they have done.
Thurman is younger by more then half a decade and put up similar production last season.

Wrote some words about Jameer Thurman the other day for @CFLNewsHub. Thurman is six years younger then Larry Dean, put up six less tackles then Dean, three more sacks and had the same amount of picks.
Great addition for Saskatchewan.

@MONEYMAZJONES @geestwie Actually I don’t think you can necessarily upgrade from Dean. My thinking on Hladik is it may give the Riders a route to put their CDN LB spot in the middle and then get way more athletic in the spots outside. Dean’s a beast. Either way the #riders go, they couldn’t be wrong
