A great result for Barnet Neighbourhoods as both the 2025 North West BCU - Police Officer of the Year Award, and North West BCU - Police Staff of the Year Award, went to members of their team!

Three Inspectors, two sergeants, ten Constables, and two PCSOs have received a citation for their outstanding contribution as a team to the ‘Clear, Hold, Build’ initiative that is helping to reshape community safety on the Grahame Park Estate in Colindale.

Four Emergency Response officers based at Colindale Police Station have received a citation for professionalism, quick thinking and teamwork when providing first aid to an uncooperative male armed with a knife who had suffered self-inflicted stab wounds inside an address.

Seven volunteer members of Shomrim have received a citation for tenacity, teamwork, and bravery protecting the local community, by pursuing and containing a male suspect armed with a knife who was threatening staff in a local shop.

Two officers from our Emergency Response teams based at Colindale, along with two members of the public have received a citation for professionalism, quick thinking and first aid, by performing CPR and saving the life of a female who had attempted to take her own life.

We’re at the North West BCU Commander’s Commendation Ceremony this morning, to recognise just some of the outstanding dedication, hard work, and bravery shown by officers and staff representing the NW BCU.

#ProjectServator visited #BrentCross today, working closely with members of the public to build a network of vigilance. Officers utilise both uniform and plain clothes along with live CCTV to help keep everyone safe.

#ProjectServator deployed to Transport hubs including Golders Green station. Specially trained officers are working with #TFL colleagues to better help us detect criminal activity. Officers use plain clothes and CCTV when deploying to locations.
