Officers were called at 8pm on Sunday 1st Feb to reports that a statue of British boxing legend, Teddy Baldock, was stolen from Langdon Park, E14. If you recognise the individuals or have any information, contact police on 101 quoting CAD 6133/1Feb.

Last night scum stole the statue of my Grandfather Teddy Baldock Britain's youngest ever World Boxing Champion. The statue was unveiled outside the Langdon Park DLR Station in Poplar, East London. Years of work and a stunning work of art by the sculptor, the late Carl Payne will be sold for scrap and melted down. Please retweet in case we can recover it.

@MPSTowerHam and #THEOs supported a vulnerable mother and child after her phone was stolen. Officers offered comfort and support at the Town Hall and completed a full walk through of local blocks. Phone theft can be very distressing, our officers are here to help.

During a joint stop-site operation, #THEOs and @MPSTowerHam Tower Hamlets Task Force stopped a moped. The rider had no licence or insurance. Officers seized the moped and found 5 bags of cannabis during a search. The individual was arrested.

@ScarcityStudios You're now spreading two different conclusions in one post? So did she die or did she not? Why are you spreading a video with someone saying the police killed the lady but then add the caption stating the met police didn't kill the lady and she's just sustained injuries.

Metropolitan police have confirmed a woman didn’t die while being arrested but suffered injuries “from a fall” before police contact, she was arrested for assault on a male inside a supported living complex in Tower hamlets.
