The importance of not tilting and proper risk management. This morning a lot of news came out and invalidated positions I was in. Was definitely annoying and had me red on the day. But during our psychology talk, we stayed patient, capitalized on an opportunity on Nasdaq, and flipped green on the day. That’s trading. Not every session is smooth, but discipline and composure always matter more than emotions.

Fair enough but I do believe data collecting is important for any trader who wants to do this full time, trading is a business at the end of the day and you need to know the long term metrics to achieve consistency so you don’t blow up one day and lose it all because you don’t understand why ur system is failing for a given period.
