@BrianCCastrucci Even in my local school board race we have more money than ever being spent thanks to anti-public education groups supporting disruptive candidates. It's obscene what we spend on elections.

$928M into the 7 most-cotentious Senate races, which means there's a whole lot more $ spent throughout this election cycle. What other things could we spend that $ on? Why are we so willing to fund political candidates while social causes are underfunded?
