Peace out, Indian Creek! ✌️ You’ve been good to us, but we’re ready to move into our new H🧡ME.

Last day with this fun group! They gave me a shirt with a heart drawn by each of them. I love that they left me a little memory of each of them now that they’re on to third grade! 💙

Finally, we had a glowing snack. A thoughtful student donated these glow in the dark candies for their friends to try! We also were able to attend our school wide glow party in celebration of awesome attendance this year. What a shining day at Tomahawk!

We did some glowing math rotations, including practicing measurement and arrays. And we played tic-tac-glow!

✨🪩Glow Day 🪩✨ We kicked things off by writing about the ways we’ve “glowed” in second grade!

We finished up our day with some beach reading and mad libs on the patio! ⛱️

We did a fun flip flop writing project and a beach math PBL, but I forgot to take pictures! Whoops!

Today was beach day in second grade! We all got into the spirit with some fun leis! 🏖️

So fun to see this event move from spreadsheet to reality! Loved making bracelets with all my little Swifties today! 💕

Finally, we got to try out making our own pizzas to show our knowledge of arrays! A great day of being chefs! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We learned about how reflective surfaces can be used to focus sunlight and bring warmth to an area! Then we put this knowledge to use by making some solar powered s’mores!

It was Chef Day in second grade! We started off with some synonym rolls! Just like grammar used to make! 😉

When your teacher gets to tour your new school, she comes back with lots of pictures to show you! The second graders were super excited and had so many questions about the building. We all can’t wait until August!
