Shia responses to genuine questions on their perverse theology: Sectarian. Zionist. Takfiri. Wahhabi. Saudi dog. UAE bootlicker. Israeli agent. Etc etc. How do we even talk to such people?

Lol Iranian government begging for Muslim and Arab support, When they are personally responsible for the slaughter of millions of Muslims in Iran, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon and more. I only care for the Muslims who you slaughtered for 40 years. Go to Hell, literally, pagan.

Tehran is now under full protester control. IRGC forces are losing ground, and there is no path back.

@RWApodcast Bro your shit state lost Syria, Venezuela and now about to lose Iran all in about an year. You have soldiers on HORSES being killed by 200$ drones in Ukraine. And I can guarantee you are not getting a safe space in Europe after your government collapses. Cooked!

Obviously the Iranian "protests" are astroturfed CIA/Mossad Color Revolution bullshit, they're not even pretending that it isn't, and I support the Iranian government for pragmatic reasons. But they do have an even worse boomer gerontocracy problem than Russia, much worse. They do really need to change some stuff. Ideally younger nationalist IRGC guys should take charge. But that's probably not going to happen with Khamenei still around. Which makes the situation pretty dangerous.

Everyone wants this ICE shooting story to be simple & their side to be right. We live in a world wanting to create oppositional binaries & drive division at every opportunity. Hero or villain. Murder or martyrdom. Oppressor or victim. But the truth is that like so much in this world this situation is paradoxical, dialectical, a duality. Many opposing & contradicting things can be true at the same time. The ICE officer who fired the shot likely wasn’t some evil hateful law enforcement officer playing cowboy. He was a man who had already been hit and dragged by a vehicle during a previous ICE protest. Perhaps he was traumatised & shouldn’t have been in the field but whena car moved toward him in Minneapolis, he didn’t see a philosophical debate about immigration, he saw a threat. That doesn’t make it right for him to have discharged his weapon, but it provides context & reminds us he was human. At the same time, Renee Good was a mother, poet, & an anti-ICE activist. In my view she and her wife Becca behaved like complete idiots. They clearly were seeking to set up a confrontation & film it for social media. They had every right to protest but not by using their car as a weapon. At the same time Renee did not deserve to die on a residential street because the American state & American left wing protest culture collided in the worst possible way. Ignoring her own antagonism of officers, Renee’s wife, Becca, has framed this as pure innocence versus pure evil saying “We had whistles, they had guns.” Well, she also had an SUV. This is a political story being built in real time & one that erases the officer’s prior trauma, the split-second fear, the chaos of the scene, and replaces it with a morality play where only one side is allowed to be human. That is wilfully simplistic & wrong. It turns a tragedy into propaganda. And it ensures that nothing actually changes because if everything is just evil, nothing has to be understood. Likewise you can think Renee and her wife were meddling fruit loops who had no business interfering with ICE operations AND accept that the situation could have been resolved without shooting her. You can believe Renee’s death was a profound injustice AND believe the officer didn’t wake up planning to kill anyone. You can demand accountability from the state AND accept that these ICE protestors are using dangerous, violent tactics to prevent people from doing their jobs lawfully. We are so desperate for clean stories that support our partisan views that we refuse to look at the mess & accept the paradoxes. We are human and flawed and we mess things up every second of every day no matter our politics.

Iranologists saying: "The Ayatollah is under extreme pressure, but no collapse is imminent." Isn't this exactly what an imminent collapse looks like? One day you're the Supreme Leader. The next you're just another tenant in Putin's guest house, asking Assad for the WiFi password.

I’m in an Apple Store in America. The woman helping me asks where I’m from. I say Israel. Her eyes grow wide and she starts to tear up. “I’m from Iran,” she says. “When my people are free we will dance in Israel.”

So am hearing from multiple sources that Ali Khamenei was planning to flee Iran last evening and that his wife and four of his six children were waiting in the aircraft for him to arrive when word reached them from Moscow that they were not welcome there. Putin said no.

You know, there’s a reality where we all wake up in 3-5 years and everything turns out amazing. Iranian regime deposed, Russia defeated in Ukraine, Chinese continue their decline. A few things have to go our way, but for the first time in a long time, I’m bullish.
