@sparks_stirling @Springboard_ I have no problem with data about high street performance - it's important - but those who produce it, especially if it's only "predictions", need to be much more transparent about how it is arrived at, and how robust it is. It's the past academic in me coming out!

Any response please, @springboard_, on a) how this kind of speculation is supposed to be helpful to businesses and places, b) how you measure what hasn't happened yet, and c) the press release you will share if/when the predictions are shown not to be correct?
