It wasn’t without its faults, but Drury and Stead did get somewhat of a tune out the group that had underperformed under Grant and Manning previously. Lots of work to do, but the foundations may have been laid for them to build upon what they started. #htafc

If it’s to be Drury then it’s to be Drury. I’ll get behind him and the team until they give me reason not to. Exciting? Not massively, but I don’t think many mentioned names have been to this point. Experienced staff in the dugout beside him is vital. #htafc

Honestly, it’s incredible. Livramento, Spence, Stones, Quansah, Burn, Henderson, Madueke and Toney should be absolutely nowhere near it. I’m put off before we’ve even kicked off! 🤢🚮

This is a terrible outcome. If guilty, then a fine and a points deduction ahead of next season is surely the correct route? Removing them from a play-off final they’ve earned the right to be in is not. If Boro go up now, it makes an absolute mockery of the game.

@neilmurphy5 @htafc @sbk I take your point, Neil, and agree to some extent. The season didn’t end today, Tuesday or last Saturday, it ended long before in the previous 41. But in isolation, the last 3 games I’m struggling to pick too much fault with. Still fragile but created and scored ample, battled.

@fountain1987 Bitter pills to swallow over the past couple of games. Missed penalties on Saturday (handball and foul on Humphreys) and the blatant foul on Balker. Then Mumba onside, Salech offside last night. That said, if we put teams to bed, we wouldn’t need to worry about these moments.

Another side note. Salech looked offside to me #htafc

But, as many have already alluded to, it’s not last night or Saturday that will cost us a place in the top six, it’s what we did in the 40 or so previous. For what it’s worth; Humphreys my MOTM last night. Kasumu and Wallace both good. Bojan until we lost him, too. #htafc

The last two performances had improved tenfold, but our inability to put teams to bed coupled with several inept refereeing decisions ensured we didn’t get what we deserved. #htafc
