@BitvalExchange I prefer swing trading so I never liked stop loss. But now that I'm dabbling in some day trading, stop loss is absolutely necessary to protect capital.

Stop Loss Explained It closes your position automatically at a price you set before the trade, not during it. Be honest, do you always put a stop loss?

Moral of the story: Stay vigilant. No one randomly slides into your DMs offering help. Always beware of scammers. Sometimes when you pray for help, the devil shows up first to deceive.

True story A scammer slid into my DMs recently pretending to offer financial help. Smelled like the classic “send a little first for fees” script. But it was actually the “I’ll show you how to make money trading and we split 60/40” accompanied by the “top trader profit screenshot” script. After I told him my real situation and said I’d appreciate the assistance, he instantly realised he picked the wrong one… this was his response😭:

May recap : +$255,257 Finished the month +$255,257, but the number alone doesn’t tell the story. What I’m happiest about wasn’t the PnL. It was the consistency. Out of 31 trading days, 20 finished green and only 11 closed red. Most of the losing days were relatively small, while the winning days were allowed to run. That’s exactly how a professional equity curve should look. There wasn’t a need to force trades every day. Some sessions the market offered a clear edge, and I sized accordingly. Other days I kept risk controlled and accepted small losses. Trading isn’t about being right every day, it’s about making sure your winners are substantially larger than your losers. The biggest lesson this month was trusting conviction when the odds were heavily in my favor. Markets reward patience far more than constant activity. Understanding positioning, liquidity, psychology, and who is forced to buy or sell has become a much bigger part of my edge than simply reading a chart. People often think profitable trading comes from predicting every move. In reality, it comes from protecting capital when you’re wrong and pressing hard when you’re right. The goal isn’t to have a perfect win rate. The goal is to build an equity curve that trends higher month after month. Slowly compounding the book. One good decision at a time.
