🚀 Quick Tip for Those Supporting Fundraising Friends 🚀 👏 Shower them with praise 'til it's borderline obnoxious! 👏 Here's the deal: The fundraising game is a rollercoaster of emotions, and CEOs, even the seasoned ones, wrestle with imposter syndrome on a whole new level during this ride. Picture this: They have 2-4 pitches scheduled on any given day that can save their company, and a huge chunk of their success hinges on their confidence. Throw in some unpredictable market conditions, and you've got a recipe for a CEO who's on the edge. Keep in mind, these are startup CEOs. They're nuts at the best of times. Channel that lunatic energy in the right direction. So, whether you're an investor, a friend, family, or part of their board, crank up the positivity dial during fundraising efforts. Boost their good vibes and confidence to the max. Trust me, there'll be plenty of time to bring them back to reality once the fundraising dust settles. And speaking from experience, this positivity overload played a HUGE role in 4AG Robotics nailing our fundraising journey, particularly from our board at the time (Keith Spencer, Sheldon Gardiner, Mel O' Rourke, Rob Russell and Mike Boudreau). They kept me from swerving off the edge a few times, and now that we're back to a position of strength our new board has restored the proper balance between support, cheerleading, and guidance.
