I’d like to say that I posted this yesterday then on stream got wished things by someone no one should ever be wished. Literally proved my point hours later.

As a woman streamer, I realised I had to grow up quickly. Suddenly this 16 year old girl had to learn how to deal with sexualising comments from men when she barely even knew how to game. And then all people would say to that is that was the cards I was dealt. It was MY fault.

I swear a lot of people in these communities lack any kind of kindness or common sense when it comes to these stories. It's like if the author of a book tells you the main character's name is Sprig, then people send that author death threats because they "believe the character's name should be Sproing."
Like, no dude, do you see how ridiculous you look right now? They MADE the story, not you. Then they have the gall to be awful to the author because safety behind a screen. They wouldn't even HAVE something like the story to be passionate about if it wasn't for the author. People sometimes.
